Got an Idea? Great! So what's next?

Its one thing to develop an idea- i mean everyone has an idea everyday- but its a completely different thing to bring one's idea to life and put it to work.

Yesterday, I realised AGAIN how strong the mind can be. How fast negativity reproduces and how easy it is to find excuses.

The mind is a powerful abode. It reproduces faster than the womb - Maybe All you need is find one reason and it will reproduce them

So here's to you.............................. Don't ever breed excuses or seek one reason why it will not work. If you do, then you've just set the stage for more; Yes! you will find countless reasons.


I guess, all we really need to do is stay positive and believe! If it doesn't work, learn, try again and of course you still need to BELIEVE!

Perception, Positioning and The Unconscious Bias That Influence Our Story

A few days ago, I gave a few minutes of thought to hashtag positioning and how it affects perception My lines of thought were focused on: 'people and their perception of others - a case study of myself.' I imagined some of the words that my bosses would describe me with and how somehow, most of them were linked to words like 'resolve', 'strong-will' etc. - I'm sure my current and previous bosses will be the first to nod at this 😄. You see, as a resolute/determined/strong-willed person, chances are you'd most likely be summoned to the other side of the table and probably asked 'why' more often than most of your colleagues - in some cases, you'd not make the list of top three favourite colleagues but guess what? You become top of mind when things go south on either side (colleagues or management - mostly the former).

My Greatest Fear In One Word

A few years ago, I asked someone (JMCA) what his greatest fear was - one of the questions I ask to understand people and what drives them. He didn't spare two seconds before he responded (I wouldn't tell you what his response was but rest assured, it would stick for a very long time). Few minutes after I tried to inquire why he was afraid of what he had told me, something happened. In a still voice - one hoping to get the same response as his- he asked, "So what about you? What is your greatest fear."FAILURE! I answered. I could sense the confusion/amazement in his stare.  How can anyone ever be afraid to fail?
