Goal Setting just doesn't do the job. You do!

I woke up today to an online post by a friend who was discovered that his friends have let go of their goals for 2017 - an opinion he expressed with no iota of worry/surprise.
"Oh now this is terrible but again, this is Nigeria" I thought

If you're reading this and just happen to be one of the friends of my friend or you just happen to fall within the category of 'non-follow throughs', here's my thought about goals that could helpπŸ˜‰.
  1. Actively pursuing your goals is one thing, but fretting when you haven't achieved them makes you less able and likely to achieve them. This is especially true when you're dependent on other people - I think impatience can easily turn to frustration and unkind words that damage your relationships (business or personal).
  2. Negative people think they're being realistic, but they're looking at the world through crap-colored glasses.
  3. Staying positive and upbeat leaves you open to new ideas, opportunities and learning experience. Being negative just forces you to stew in your own bitter juice.

Focus on process. Once you've set your goals, set them aside and concentrate on executing each step of your plan to achieve them. Inconsistency pays nothing every-time
Be happier with life. Take some action every day - a walk, a run or even a chit chat with a positive minded person - to make your life experience just a little better.
